This animation has a pretty long written introduction. The animation itself was quite interesting. The backgrounds look super detailed and cool. There are a lot of ducks. The style of the cartoon people is very Disney, and reminds me of the seven dwarves. The paper turned into ducks? I am not entirely sure what this animation is about. Something to do with reporters? And propaganda? Even with Chris's translation I have no idea what is going on.
It is an interesting mix between stop motion and film. Canada what. Most of this was two guys smelling a flower and jumping everywhere. I think they had a disagreement on who's the flower was. This was a very strange animation. What just happened.
These are the pioneers that I am using for my presentation. They use Technicolor, I should look into this for experimenting.
The use of stop motion and huge sets makes for an interesting looking movie.
His films are very inventive, they use unconventional techniques and ways of creating and interesting film.
Very cutout looking animation, Characters have the same kind of style as the Samurai Jack series created by Genndy Tartakovsky. It uses some very interesting textures for the backgrounds. I think the character had a super weird lucid dream.
The colour is really nice, it is very reminiscent of 90's manga and anime. The animation itself is obviously made in less time than Western as it doesn't run as smoothly,
