This class consisted of going through the introduction to this class, basic computer stuff and overall helpful information.
I also started to brainstorm ideas for the first assessment and portfolio, which can be seen in another blog post which can be viewed here.

I've decided on a theme, which is "After Bio Warfare"
So pretty much the jist of it is that the environment will have change a lot. Animals and plants have mixed DNA, humans no longer exist as they once were. Any humans have mixed DNA, so they can show a range of physical and mental traits. The environment as taken over, sometimes mirroring what once was.
I am thinking of using a mix of colours considered natural, e.g greens and browns with colours such as blues and purples

We went through how to use particular tools to edit photos and improve them.
Tools were used to take away dust spots, transform and edit images and 'heal' parts of a photo.

Went through more Photoshop tools and tricks. We also went over colour theory and created a powerpoint in groups. This is my groups one:

Played round with cameras, will put the photos here soon. Had a look at settings and tried to find certain things to photo graph such as something with analogous colours, contrast, triadic colours and repetition

Started to have a look at the programme Maya. Its complicated and something we look into further next year. But it is fun to play around with. I have started to sketch out a chess piece idea

Worked on more of the chess piece. Maya is simple when you are only making simple things.

Worked on more of the digital portfolio booklet. Finished the Chess Piece. On Thursday and Friday I will be re editing photographs and finishing paintings
